Three years ago we came back to Holland.
We came back to Holland before,
but most of the time is was 'just a period'
or for holidays.
This time it would be 'more permanent'.....
or not.......
for sure it was different than other times....
Time...
When I look at our garden,
I see lot's of flowers, a few fruit trees
and green grass
and it makes me happy and relaxed.
I see some broken pots from our time in the middle east,
I see a old 'one wheeler bike' from Bas
and a faded sign.....
a sign to remember that Happiness is a way to live...
Our garden shows the past and the future,
it shows dead and living.
It looks like this now,
because we took time to make it as we imagined it.
It took patience and trust.
It looks totally different than 3 years ago,
different than two years ago
and different than last year.
We learned a lot.....
Isn't that not the same with our lives?
We see how far we came if we take time to look back....
With our garden we learned a lot.
We learned from mistakes/steppingstones,
from a neighbour with more experience
and.....just by doing what we thought was right....
Now we take more time to clear dead flowers,
and more new flowers are blooming.
We take out weeds and let other weeds grow....
Our garden shows growing, hope and patience...
Our rowan has some leaves and we hope it
will survive and start feeling better next year
and give more leaves and berries-
This year we had cherries on the tree, last year none
and instead of 3 apples we have lot's now....
We even have a plumb tree now......
it didn't have flowers in the spring and all I see is 'green'....
probably no fruit this year...yet...
The faded sign remembers me we choose to be happy....
whatever happens.....
It doesn't mean we are never sad....
it just means we Know that like the dead flower,
it is part of life....
We have to let 'the old' go if we want to be open for new....
July is the month of Cancer and Leo.
It is the time the sun will be at its highest point......
Can you deal with that power of the sun?
Do you realise you have the same power,
and like the sun,
you 'just' have to shine.....
Can you deal with it,
or are some old emotions blocking it -Cancer-
If there is some old hurt,
you, most likely are 'afraid' to shine....
'afraid' to get 'burned'.....
Perhaps you are pretending to lead, be like a sun,
but people are afraid of you......
people
who still don't realise they have the power as well...
and can be manipulated by you.....
Realise that if you do this,
you have some old hurt to deal with.....
realise you don't have to prove yourself....
No one should have to 'shout and scream' to be heard,
no one should have to blame others to be heard.....
If you do,
I hope you take time to look inside
and realise you don't need that 'old hurt' anymore....
you have your unique power......
'just' shine...
There is a lot of sports this summer:
the European soccer tournament,
the Olympic games,
the Tour the France,
Wimbledon,
Formula 1 races....
Sports are 'Leo' as well: having fun, play....
doing what you love to do,
just like a child....
How do you experience sports?
How do you look at people
who are doing what they love to do?
In sport I see people who love to do what they do,
and are happy for others
who are excelling as well......a mature Leo...
I also see people who blame equipment,
other people, teammates, coaches
when they don't get the result what they wanted/expected.....

Lot's have happened the last 3 years,
big transformation,
letting go, new life
and lot's of mirrors......
If I look at the garden,
I 'Know' it is good
and I wonder how the next years will be.

'just find the weeds' and let them go,
so there is space for abundance.....'beautiful flowers'....
